Advanced Deep Tissue Massage - Techniques for Sports Massage 7 CE hours (tuition $180) — This course will enhance a massage and bodywork professional’s awareness of Deep Tissue Massage for Sports Massage.  The therapist will review and develop a detailed study of the skeletomuscular system and common sports injuries. The concept of Sports Massage and the application of Deep Tissue Massage techniques for pain relief and rehabilitation will be presented and studied.  The course will establish the appropriate application of techniques for problem areas and develop protocols for assessment and treatment plans.  The therapist will learn appropriate client positioning and study proper body mechanics the safe practice of techniques.
